The Burst Generator
The Burst Generator is a NIM module designed to generate
bursts of fast pulses. It can be programmed to generate a
given number of pulses after a programmable delay following
a trigger pulse. The frequency of these pulses can be
either 250MHz or a few values around 500MHz. The burst is
used to provide the external clock for a digitizer, specifically,
the Acqiris Cougar 500-4.
